Tips
  • Does your dog get car sick??? If they do, than give them half a tablet of Dramamine (car sicknes medicine found in the medicine isle) before your ride.

  • Never put your dog in their crate when they are bothering you and you want to get them out of your way, because then when you do put them in their crate (for bed, or while your gone) then they will think they did something wrong.

  • Got a spot that prone to being peed on? If so, than get some tin foil, place it shiny side up on the spot/s where they seem to most often go.

  • Do you dread having to give your dog a bath because of their behavior in the bath? (whining, fussing, and trying to jump out) Well you can either give them a shower, (some dogs like it better, some dont.) perferably one with a pull out handle, or you can use a kitchen sink and use the hand sprayer.

  • While shampooing your dog, do not rotatE in a circle.(to prevent matting)

  • Only use dog shampoo on dogs. They have a different pH balance.

  • If you are looking for a 4-5lb. dog to carry around with you, and there's a dog you looking at that's 2lbs. at age 3 months, than your looking at an 4lb. adult.

  • When you're looking at a 3 month old puppie, than double the size and that will be approximiatly the size of them when they're full grown.
  • To remove mosuos from the corner of the eyes, use a warm, wet wash cloth. Mosous can cause the hair to rott if not taken care of.
  • When you first take your yorkie home, make sure that all poisonous chemicals (detergents, cleaners, ect.) are kept out of reach for your dog, also keep chocolate away from you dog, it is very harmfull to them.

  • Dont let any loose electric cords dangle around where your dog will be kept.

  • Blow-dry your dog dry,(instead of letting the coat air dry) it makes thier coat softer and easier to mangage.
